Tower of London Remembers

I went to the Tower of London over the weekend to see the poppy installation marking one hundred years since the first full day of Britain’s involvement in World War I. There are 888,246 ceramic poppies which encircle the Tower and each one represents a British military fatality during the war. It’s a spectacular, moving and beautiful display!
