I just spent a wonderful week on the Cote D’Azur! We stayed in Antibes and went on some great excursions. Fondation Maeght in Saint-Paul de Vence is a family owned collection which includes work by Alexander Calder, Georges Braque, Joan Miro and many more. We then drove to the charming town of Saint-Agnes, perched on the top of a hill overlooking the Mediterranean. I’m already looking forward to my next trip! I just got back from a wonderful holiday on the Cote d’Azur. We stayed in the charming town of Antibes and drove to Nice, Monaco, Eze, Saint Paul de Vence, among other towns. The food and rose wine is delicious, the landscape is beautiful and I was with great company. I can’t wait to go again!
I had a WONDERFUL weekend in The Cotswolds. We rented a car and drove to some of the most charming towns, Stow on the Wold, Chipping Camden, Broadway, Winchcombe, Cirencester, Tetbury, and Lacock. We walked through fields of sheep, stopped at farm stands and ate delicious food. It was a lovely weekend!
I had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Boston! My sister and her husband made a delicious dinner and it was a weekend filled with family and friends.
Turkish food is delicious. I had a lot of kebabs, aubergine (dehydrated aubergine pictured below), simit, which is a circular bread with sesame seeds, olives, fish and Turkish ravioli called manti. We also went to a food market with a lot of fruit, vegetables and fish. There are so many great places to eat, I can’t wait to go back to Istanbul and explore more!
I had an amazing weekend in the charming town of Bruton in Somerset. About 2 months ago, the contemporary art gallery, Hauser & Wirth opened a location in Bruton. The multi-purpose arts centre also houses a delicious restaurant featuring locally-sourced produce. We then stayed At The Chapel, which is a beautiful, white, modern space with a bakery, restaurant, bar and 8 bedrooms. The whole experience was wonderful and definitely worth a visit!
I had a great day out in Whitstable yesterday with a few friends! The seaside town on the coast of Kent is famous for it’s oysters. We had a nice lunch, a drink in the sun and played on the rocky beach.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner last night! Happy Thanksgiving to all.
The colors in Istanbul are wonderful and the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market were great places to see that. We also managed to eat quite a lot of Turkish delight (pomegranate with pistachio is the best)! I’m already thinking about my next trip to Istanbul!
From The Ritz to a homeless shelter, here are some great photos of Christmas dinners. Happy holidays!!
